VFRnav is a navigation application tailored for pilots operating under visual flight rules (VFR). This software combines an ICAO-style moving map with robust planning and recording functionalities, aimed at facilitating reliable flight navigation. Key Features:<ul><li>Map-Based Navigation: Offers flight route visualization on an ICAO-style map with real-time position tracking.</li><li>Offline Operation: Fully operational offline after initial setup, eliminating the need for an active internet connection during flights.</li><li>Database: Contains extensive data on airports, waypoints, and navigation aids across multiple European countries.</li><li>Flight Planning: Assists in route planning, fuel calculation, and flight time estimation, with automatic integration of weather data and NOTAMs for the chosen route.</li><li>Digital Flight Logbook: Automatically logs takeoff and landing times; flight data can be exported as KML files for use in applications like Google Maps.</li><li>External Sensors: Compatible with external GPS receivers and traffic data sources (e.g., FLARM, Stratux, CCAS, SafeSky, ADS-B) via WiFi or Bluetooth.</li></ul> Technical Requirements:<ul><li>Android version 5 or higher.</li><li>Minimum screen resolution of 480x800 pixels.</li><li>At least 200 MB of free storage space.</li></ul> License Model:The application allows for unrestricted testing prior to purchase. A full license is priced at €49.95, which includes one year of free updates. After this period, users can opt to renew their update term. The app remains operational regardless of update status. Licenses are personal and can be used on up to three Android devices linked to the same Google account. It is important to note that Android licenses do not extend to Apple devices.
